Purpose:

To provide golfers with the opportunity to play selected courses with others who enjoy the game.  Encourage fellowship with other members.

President will provide the general administration, including the preparation of an annual schedule with assigned coordinators for each month, handle contract arrangements with the selected courses and assist in any problem resolution.

Vice President will fill in for the President when not available and assist the President in other duties as required.

Handicap Chairman will maintain the membership roster, and maintain individual handicaps for each member, adjusted to each course's rating.  These will be provided to the monthly coordinators to be used for weekly flight awards and Blind Bogey scores. The Handicap Chairman will also collect all scorecards and score sheets weekly for the maintenance of the handicaps.

Treasurer will control the FGA bank account and handle all collections (e.g., annual dues, award luncheon payments, etc.) and disbursements (e.g., golf balls for closest to pin contests, awards luncheon costs, etc.).  Will prepare and distribute financial reports.

Events Chairman will be responsible to form a committee to plan the association's annual awards banquet, tournament and any other special events during the year.

Membership Responsibilities:

Membership dues of Forty ($40.00) dollars a year will be paid to the Treasurer before the Thirty First of December.  The dues for new members joining after July 1 will be Twenty ($20.00) dollars.  In order for our group to maintain our early tee times and to maintain good relations with the selected courses, each member should:

1. Try to play as often as possible.

2. Notify the monthly coordinator of your intended playing schedule. If your schedule changes (You will not be playing or if you wish to bring a guest) it is your responsibility to inform the coordinator early enough that he may call the courses with the correct count of players.

3. BE AT THE COURSE ON TIME!

4. Don't play slow!! Watch each other's ball to minimize time spent locating stray shots.

5. Use proper golf etiquette!!

6. USGA rules of golf govern play!!

7. Try to keep two scorecards per foursome to minimize errors.

8. Golfers over 75 can opt to hit from the forward tees.  Golfers under 75 can hit from the forward tees if their current handicap is over a defined threshold value for that course.  The playing group and scoring sheets should show two asterisks next to a player's name when they are to hit from the forward tees.

9. Golfers over 80 should use the forward tees.

Club Championship:

The club championship will be determined by using the 3 lowest net scores of the five (5) rounds played the months of July and August. In the event a makeup round is required, that round will be played as decided by the Board. Awards for additional achievements during the year past will be awarded at the annual banquet. The date and site of the banquet will be announced by the Board.
